York City Knights player-coach Paul March has been suspended for one game and fined �75 for fighting against Gateshead on Good Friday.

March was sent off in the match while forward Ryan Esders, who was also red carded, has been banned for two matches and fined �100.

Prop Danny Ekis has also been given a two match ban and fined �75 for fighting in the same game.

All three players will miss the game against Workington on 16 April.

Esders and Ekis will also sit out the trip to Blackpool on 26 April.

Gateshead centre, Graham Stephenson was also shown the red card for punching in the match at the Huntington Stadium. He had no case to answer as the panel ruled he was a victim of mistaken identity.
