Smith took charge of the Great Britain side a year ago |
England will face France in Toulouse on June 27 as part of their build-up to this year's World Cup. It will be the first full international between the countries for nine years although England beat France in the Federation Shield in 2006.
Great Britain also beat France in Tony Smith's first match in charge but the home nations will compete as separate teams in Australia in November.
Smith said: "The match will be a significant challenge for our team."

He added: "It will also be a great opportunity to renew a great historical rivalry between the two nations.
"It will also provide us with a valuable opportunity to play together before the World Cup and become accustomed to the type of travelling we will experience next autumn."
The fixture clashes with a full Super League programme but Smith plans to field a full-strength side.
"It will be selected on form and with the World Cup very much in mind, rather than the more experimental side that we fielded in last season's Great Britain fixture against France," Smith added.
Smith also hopes to arrange a match with Ireland, who have also qualified for the World Cup.
