Hunslet Old Boys have been kicked out of the Challenge Cup after having four players sent off in their first-round clash with Wigan side Ince Rose Bridge. The referee called off the game with the home team leading 28-6, prompting the Rugby Football League to intervene.
It has now ruled the result will stand, with Ince Rose Bridge taking their place in Thursday's second-round draw.
The RFL is continuing to investigate allegations that referee Warren Turley was also assaulted during the match.
Further details of the outcome of the investigation will be made known when appropriate.
