79 mins: Jamie Peacock is named Man of the Match. He is just one of several outstanding performers for the home side.
77 mins: TRY
Interception score from Leon Pryce. He goes 60 metres to touch down. Kevin Sinfield kicks the conversion. The Kiwis are thoroughly humiliated.
"I bet if you count the number of offloads by Great Britain tonight, it'll be in the zillions."
John Kear, 5 Live Sports Extra
71 mins: TRY
Keith Senior gets in on the act. Paul Wellens dabs the ball through, Gareth Raynor can't collect it, but the ball ricochets off Sam Perrett into the path of Senior, who has the simple task of going over. Kevin Sinfield adds the extras.
68 mins: Tony Smith will be delighted with the commitment of his players. The game is won but GB are determined not to give the Kiwis any joy. This time Gareth Raynor drags Shontayne Hape into touch.
63 mins: TRY
It's a rout. GB add a sixth try through Rob Burrow after another great passage of play. Adrian Morley started the move with a barnstorming run down the middle of the pitch. Kevin Sinfield kicks the extras.
62 mins: The GB players are quick to give Adrian Morley a big pat on the back after his tackle on Lance Hohaia denies the Kiwis another tryscoring opportunity.
60 mins: Paul Wellens produces a great try-saving tackle to deny Taniela Tuiaki. The winger looks certain to score in the left corner after brushing off Ade Gardner but the full-back stuns him with a tackle that knocks the ball into touch.
58 mins: James Graham is caught high by David Faiumu. Are the Kiwis going to keep their heads with the game lost?
56 mins: TRY
It's a deserved try for Ade Gardner. Great support play and opportunism results in the St Helens winger going over in the right corner. Full marks to Rob Burrow and Martin Gleeson, who opened up the Kiwi defence beautifully. Burrow fails with the extras but it hardly matters.
55 mins: Superb defence from the Lions. The GB players are determined not to let their opponents through.
53 mins: Ade Gardner looks to have got away from the Kiwi defence, but he is called back after team-mate Gareth Ellis is penalised for crossing.
50 mins: TRY
Game over? GB score their fourth try when Paul Wellens touches down after the ball goes loose from a Leon Pryce high kick to the left corner. The video referee is consulted but it's bad news for the Kiwis. Rob Burrow adds the extras.
48 mins: Great Britain are playing like the Harlem Globetrotters at the moment, chucking the ball around for fun. the tactic almost results in a try, but Ade Gardner is denied.
43 mins: Fuifui Moimoi on the charge for the Kiwis. They'll need more of that if they are to get anything from this game. There kicking will need to improve, too.
Half-time: GB 16-0 NZ "Smith could be the most successful GB coach ever if he carries on like this. Give him a series against the Aussies before we judge him though"
ROCKFMBUS via 606
40 mins: TRY
Gareth Raynor makes amends by scoring GB's third try of the game. The Hull FC winger goes over in the left corner after some great handling by the GB players. With Kevin Sinfield off the pitch, Rob Burrow takes over the kicking duties but is woefully off target with the conversion.
37 mins: Oops. Gareth Raynor misses a great chance to extend GB's lead. Clinton Toopi makes a hash of collecting Rob Burrow's kick, but Raynor spills the ball just as he is about to dive over the tryline.
33 mins: Cheers ring out from GB fans for Gareth Ellis. He brushes off five tacklers before being felled.
30 mins: John Kear tells 5 Live Sports Extra listeners that he thinks some of the Kiwi forwards are tiring already.
29 mins: Ade Gardner takes a high kick from Thomas Leuluai. Both wingers are looking very solid for GB.
27 mins: Sam Burgess on for GB. How will the Kiwis react now he is on the field?
26 mins: Important tackle from Kevin Sinfield. Sam Perrett, who is getting a lot of praise from John Kear on 5 Live Sports Extra, almost scampers through but is brought down by the Leeds skipper.
24 mins: Poor kick from Lance Hohaia. Keith Senior collects the ball on the halfway line. Good opportunity for GB.
22 mins: GB bring on Maurie Fa'asavalu. This could get interesting now.
20 mins: That didn't take long. Fuifui Moimoi leaves his mark all over Kevin Sinfield.
18 mins: Fuifui Moimoi on for NZ. Should add a bit more grunt.
16 mins: More woe for the Kiwis. They put the kick-off long, so it's a penalty on halfway for GB.
14 mins: TRY
Leon Pryce dances his way to the tryline. For some reason the video referee is called in to judge whether it's a try or not. No doubt there. GB looking very dangerous in attack. Kevin Sinfield makes it two out of two. It's 12-0 to GB.
13 mins: Gareth Raynor just fails to pluck Rob Burrow's high kick out of the air. But it's a penalty for GB after Thomas Leuluai takes Keith Senior out of the game.
"I'm 27 years old...and barely remember our last series win! C'mon GB"
Mike, Manchester. Via text
10 mins: Some great attacking play by New Zealand, who carve GB open down the left flank. Ade Gardner does well to hoover up a Kiwi offload - the danger is averted.
8 mins: Gareth Raynor comes to GB's rescue again. He leaps highest to collect a Lance Hohaia bomb.
6 mins: GB forced to drop out from under their posts. Gareth Raynor palms the ball dead after Thomas Leuluai tests the GB defence with a delicate grubber kick.
5 mins: Penalty for NZ after GB slow down the play-the-ball. Roy Asotasi on the charge but he is knocked back by the GB tacklers. Good defence from the home side.
2 mins:TRY
Jamie Peacock bulldozes his way to the line after shrugging off several tacklers. I counted eight Kiwi players who had a go at bringing him down. Kevin Sinfield adds the extras. NZ haven't touched the ball yet after kicking off.
Kick-off: New Zealand get the game under way. Leon Pryce catches the ball and offloads to home favourite Gareth Raynor, who makes good ground.
1817: Right, national anthems have been sung, the Kiwis have done their haka, and the players are ready to go. Hold onto your hats.
1813: The KC is looking pretty full. Should be a great atmosphere.
1811: "GB to win by 15."
Mark, Oxford. Via text.
1809: A cynical 606 post this one: "I just wonder if the Kiwis might win tonight, setting up a "cliffhanger" for next week, guaranteeing a bigger crowd and more interest."
barrielager via 606
1800: The KC Stadium has a capacity of 25,404. Will it be full? The RFL and NZRL have done their best to hype up the game but only 16,000 turned up last week at the Galpharm.
1756: "This game could make or break Tony Smith's reign as GB boss. If we win, I think he'll be around for a while."
warrigntonkearney via 606
1752: New Zealand have yet to win under new coach Gary Kemble. But there were only six points between the sides at Huddersfield and the Kiwis are still trying to gel as a team. The return of centre Clinton Toopi will no doubt help.
1746: Here are the teams. No reports of any late changes. The Sinfield family will be very relieved.
GB: Wellens, Gardner, Gleeson, Senior, Raynor, Pryce, Burrow, Morley, Clarke, Peacock, Ellis, O'Loughlin, Sinfield. Replacements: Fa'asavlu, Graham, Burgess, McGuire.
NZ: Perrett, Tuiaki, Toopi, Whaturia, Hape, Hohaia, Leuluai, Rapira, Halatau, Asotasi, Mannering, Pritchard, Smith. Replacements: Faiumu, Anderson, Eastwood, Moimoi.
1730: The verbal sparring about head-high tackles in the run-up to this game has ensured there will be plenty of fireworks tonight - quite apt for this time of year, don't you think? This is going to be a cracker and I can't wait for that first tackle at the KC Stadium. Let's hope it's legal.
Any thoughts on Tony Smith's team selection? James Roby will be a loss but will the Lions have more control of the game now Kevin Sinfield is back. There were times during the first Test when GB looked a little rudderless.
A wise decision starting Sam Burgess on the bench? After last week's controversy, is Smith is right to take him out of the firing line? There's sure to be a hot reception for the 18-year-old when he does come on the pitch.
