Barker, 24, has been a member of the promotion-winning team for the last two years after previously playing for Hull KR but has been released by the Tigers.

Harlequins coach Brian McDermott said: "Dwayne is a talented player who has a huge amount of potential."

Barker, who made three loan appearances for London Broncos in 2005, said: "I can't wait to get started."
