Castleford have begun preparing for their return to Super League by agreeing new deals with three key members of the team. Centre or winger Kirk Dixon, 23, and 21-year old half-back Anthony Thackeray, who were both out of contract, have signed two-year deals.
Samoan forward Mark Leafa, 26, has agreed a one-year contract.
Castleford bounced straight back to the top flight with victory over Widnes in the National League One Grand Final.
