The Celtic Crusaders are closing in on promotion |
Celtic Crusaders are aiming to make it 11 straight wins when they face Oldham Roughyeds at Boundary Park on Thursday (1935 BST). Coach John Dixon knows winning their last two Co-operative National League Two matches will see them go up as champions.
"Our preparation started on Sunday with a good score line against Gateshead," he said following the 64-26 win.
"It was the best we could have had (for Oldham) with such a short turnaround."
A win for the Crusaders will also end Oldham's hopes of securing automatic promotion, while fellow title rivals Featherstone Rovers host Workington Town on Sunday.
