A stunning second-half display by Hull blew away Warrington, as they tightened their grip on fourth spot in the table. Martin Gleeson put Warrington ahead before Willie Manu restored parity, then Gareth Raynor and Henry Fa'afili traded tries to keep the score level.
Lee Briscoe put Hull up at the break and Raynor's second just after the restart stretched that advantage.
Garreth Carvell and Motu Tony also scored before Paul Wood saw red, then Tony and Richard Horne also scored.
Hull coach Peter Sharp: "It was up there with the best performances of the season.
"Outside the organisation some people were asking questions of us, but inside the organisation the players have been absolutely rock solid all along.
"We knew that if we stuck to it, we'd turn it around. You've got to hang in there."
Warrington coach Paul Cullen: "We had a good start, but conceded 14 penalties and allowed Hull to dominate us down the middle of the field.
"We tried to push passes to get ourselves in the game, but invariably they went to the floor.
"I don't think anyone could be happy with conceding 14 penalties. We appear in this game to have lost our discipline and it's not been the case for the last six weeks."
