Tries: Anderson, Fa'afili
Goals: Briers (2)
St Helens: (6) 40
Tries: Wilkin, Smith, Gardner, Pryce (3), Fa'asavalu
Goals: Sculthorpe (4), Smith, Tyrer
Warrington fell apart in the second half as Leon Pryce's hat-trick put Saints back on top of Super League. Vinnie Anderson opened the scoring before Jon Wilkin pounced on defensive dithering to level for Saints.
Mike Wainwright and Maurie Fa'asavalu were both yellow-carded for brawling before Henry Fa'afili dived over to put Warrington ahead at half-time.
A Matty Smith try and Pryce's treble put Saints out of reach with Fa'asavalu and Ade Gardner adding to the pain.
Warrington began brightly, with Anderson putting them ahead after good approach work by Fa'afili.
Matt Gidley's obstruction on Richie Barnett denied Dean McGilvray a try for Saints but they drew level when Smith's bouncing high ball caught Warrington's defence unaware and Wilkin touched down.

Warrington were certainly not daunted by their high-flying visitors and went in at the break in the lead, as Fa'afili dived over to catch and touch down Lee Briers' kick into right-hand corner.
But three unanswered tries in 10 minutes after the break put Saints in control.
First Smith broke clear to score after referee Richard Silverwood accidentally obstructed Lee Westwood's attempted tackle, then Pryce bagged a brace.
Another poorly defended high kick gifted Gardner a try, before Pryce completed his treble and Fa'afili also touched down.
Warrington coach Paul Cullen: "The first 40 minutes was very good, second was not, and it is very simple really.
"We moved away from the formula which worked so well the first 40 minutes but there was a drain of confidence and energy when the ball hit the floor.
"The plan was evident in the first 40 minutes but it was not executed. One or two players were carried away by the success of the first 40 minutes."
St Helens coach Daniel Anderson on Jon Wilkin: "He has a wide range of skills and has natural leadership qualities. He is always there or thereabouts.
"Leon Pryce is also in a rich vein of form this year and Matty Smith's kicking game was a lot better.
"We over-played a bit in the first half but punished Warrington with our opportunities after the interval. It was a wonderful second half."
