A 24-point haul from centre Craig Hall was the highlight of an unimpressive victory for Hull over the Sheffield Eagles in the Challenge Cup. Hall crossed for three tries and kicked six goals, but it was only late
in the second half that they stretched their lead with four tries.
National League One Eagles matched their Super League opponents for long periods of the match.
Less than 4,500 people braved the persistent rain at the match.
