Harlequins booked their place in the last eight of the Carnegie Challenge Cup with a comprehensive win over National League Two side Oldham. Quins were in control from the moment Chris Melling ran 60 yards to open the scoring on 56 seconds.
Paul Sykes completed a rapid hat-trick for the Londoners, with Karl Temata, Mark McLinden, John Grayshon and Andy Smith also scoring.
Paul Ashton got Oldham's sole reply after latching on to Neil Roden's kick.
Oldham's chances were not helped by early injuries which saw Wes Rogers, Said Tamghart, Geno Costin and Chris Baines all forced to retire.
