Hull's Super League game with Salford has been postponed because adverse weather conditions have compromised safety levels at the KC Stadium. The club took the decision after talks with local emergency services and environmental agencies following extensive flooding in the region.
More rain is forecast before and over the course of the weekend.
Sunday's match has been rescheduled for Sunday 29 July, when the action will kick off at 1515 BST.
Salford's new coach Shaun McRae was set to make a return to his former club this Sunday, with the hosts also planning on handing a debut to new signing Mathew Head.
As it is, Head will now have to wait until next Sunday's derby with Hull KR to make his bow, whilst Salford's battle against relegation will resume with a clash against Wakefield next Friday.
