Rovers seal top spot after battle | | Hull KR clinched top spot in National League Division One with a 28-24 victory over Batley but were given a gruelling fight by the 12-man Bulldogs. Batley led 18-12 lead at half-time and went further ahead with a try by Jay Duffy at the start of the second half. Rovers reduced the deficit with tries from Byron Ford and Pat Weisner. Then when Stokes was sent off for an alleged punch, Rovers took advantage, sealing victory when winger Jon Steel snatched the all-important touchdown.
