Paul Sculthorpe will captain Great Britain for the first time on Tuesday when he leads the Lions out against New Zealand.
The St Helens forward took time out of his busy schedule to answer some of your e-mails ahead of the XXXX Test at Knowsley Road.
Was rugby league something you always wanted to do as a kid and did you expect to be so successful?
Gabbie, Stockport
Up to eight I was into football. But when a new rugby league team started near to where I lived my dad said go along. I loved it. I picked it up pretty well. My first game at Under-9s I scored four tries. I always aimed to play at the very top. If you stick to it and train hard, you will do well.
I know you are the face of several products, like Gillette, but are there any you would refuse to endorse?
Sophie, Lancaster
Anything to do with cruelty to animals. I like to do things that set a good example to kids.
What are your hobbies off the rugby pitch?
Hayley, Wigan
I play a bit of golf and pool with the boys. I like sending time with my family, too. I've got two young kids, so a bit of cricket in the garden goes down well.
What job would you most like to do if you were not a rugby league player?
Declan Thorp, Dublin, Ireland
Before I went full-time at Warrington I was at sixth-form college doing A-levels in PE and Psychology, so it would be definitely be something in sport. Maybe physiotherapy.
What does it feel like to know your are going to lead GB out in front of your home fans at Knowsley Road?
Martin Hall, Oldham
It will be awesome, being my first game as captain. It's extra-special with it being at Saints. It's the biggest honour you can get, captaining your country. It was big disappointment getting the captaincy and then not being able to play last year. But it will make it that more special this time.
You have been playing mainly in the second row this season for Saints. Do you prefer playing there or at loose forward? Where do you think you'll play for GB?
James Watson, Leeds
I prefer loose forward. Daniel Anderson put me in the second row to try to ease me back into games. My knee's still not 100% but it's getting stronger all the time. I'm not far off now, so hopefully I'll be getting more involved in games from now on. As for Great Britain, I think I'll be at 13.
How are you feeling on the pitch at the moment? Your defence is as excellent as ever, but you seem to be lacking that killer sting in your attack. Are you working on this?
Boots, Windsor
Like I say, I've been playing a different role and have found it hard to get into games. But I have felt good. I'm just playing a different role and hopefully I can get more involved.
Is this the best side St Helens side you have ever played in? Will you finish your career at Knowsley Road?
Paul, St Helens
I think it is. I've played with a lot of great players but, in terms of a team as a whole and strength in depth then, I think it is. I see no reason to move. I'm very happy here.
Can we do the double this year?
Terence Travis, St Helens
I hope so. We've just got to keep on doing what we've been doing. If we keep on winning games then the trophies will come. It would be nice to go all the way in the Challenge Cup. Then we can concentrate on winning Super League.
What's your favourite Saints' chant?
Lucy Bradbury, Chorley, Lancs
I like all of them. The fans create such a great atmosphere at Knowsley Road. They come up with some funny stuff and they always seem to be on the ball. If something has happened with the opposition, they are not slow in getting on it.
As it seems most likely that Jamie Lyon will be returning to the NRL next season, who do you think would be a good replacement for him if he was to leave?
Jen Williams, St Helens
I think that's already sorted. I believe the club are speaking to Matthew Gidley, who is quite similar to Jamie. But Jamie's been outstanding for Saints and it's a shame we can't keep hold of him.
How good a signing do you think Adrian Morley will be for your old club Warrington?
Paul Kearsey, Warrington
It's a big signing for them. He's a big name in the game and will raise a lot of publicity for Warrington. He's a good player and I'm sure he will do a great job.
Do you still look out for Warrington's results and would you ever consider a return to Warrington?
Rob Mellor, Warrington
Warrington have been a big part of my career and I've got a lot of fond memories and a lot of friends from my time there. I've only got good things to say about the club and I always look out for their results.
Have you ever thought of following the likes of Robinson, Farrell and now Walker in switching to the dark side?
Dean Bowmer, York
I've been approached by union teams and teams in the NRL, but I've always been in contract and always been happy. But I will never say never and will consider every option.
