McRae's new deal runs to the end of the 2007 season |
Former St Helens and Hull coach Shaun McRae has been handed a 12-month extension to his contract with the South Sydney Rabbitohs. The deal will keep him at Souths, who won six of their final eight games last season to avoid the wooden spoon, until the end of the 2007 season.
"I'm very happy to be extending my contract for a further season," said the former Hull boss.
"I think we are building a strong club. I'm glad I'll be a part of the future."
