Forshaw is now 'close to home' |
Warrington Wolves have signed back-row forward Mike Forshaw from the Bradford Bulls. Forshaw, who joins on a one-year deal, said several factors resulted in the decision to move away from Odsal.
"I looked at Bradford and thought that maybe one more year would be a year too long at the same club," said Forshaw.
"Warrington is close to home, they are moving into a new stadium and they have some very impressive youngsters."
"I'm excited at the prospect of joining a new club and I don't think there was a better time for me to leave Bradford on a high after winning the Grand Final," he added.
Warrington coach Paul Cullen said: "His experience, fitness and enthusiasm are ingredients we require as a team to further our position from sixth.
"The players and the coaching staff are excited by this capture."
