Gleeson re-joined Warrington in November |
Warrington hooker Mark Gleeson has signed an extension to his contract which will keep him with the Super League club until the end of 2005. The 20-year-old re-joined the club in November on a one-year contract after taking time out to travel in Australia.
He said: "I have enjoyed my return to the club and my aim is to win a cap for Lancashire in this year's Origin Series."
Meanwhile, Warrington have taken on loan three Under-21 players from coach Paul Cullen's old club Whitehaven.
They are hooker Darren King, 21, back-row forward Dean Burgess, 19, and three-quarter John Lebbon, 20.
Moscow's Olympic Stadium has been confirmed as the venue for the inaugural Victory Cup tournament involving Great Britain, the United States, France and Russia.
The competition is dedicated to victory in World War Two, with the Allies forming the competing teams.
The games are scheduled for 5 and 9 May to coincide with Germany's surrender in 1945.
Great Britain will be represented by the British Amateur Rugby League Association.
BARLA manager Neil Baxter said: "It is a real honour for BARLA to be involved in such a prestigious event.
"For the players who make the squad it will be a chance in a lifetime to play in front of such large crowds and at such a famous stadium."
