Williams relishes return to competition
Winter Olympics gold medallist Amy Williams says she has her sights firmly set on the 2014 games in Sochi, Russia.
The 27-year-old Bath slider has not been on her sled since winning the skeleton title in Vancouver back in February but is now raring to go.
"I'd love to go to another Olympics, I loved the whole experience of competing for your country," Williams told BBC Points West.
"I've always wanted to race, I just needed that little bit of time out."
It has been a whirlwind for Williams since winning the women's skeleton crown at the Winter 2010 games in Canada.
And she feels the decision to stay away from the sport for the last 10 months was the right one.
"You need to build that fire again in your stomach and that passion to really want to keep going and have definitely got that back," said Williams.
"I know I've still got the hunger to want to compete and feel like I can give a lot more to the sport."
Ultimately it's about the next Olympics and to do your best on that one day and not before

Williams returns to competitive action in January in the World Cup series but is not concerned about coming back to the sport halfway through the season.
"My goal is obviously to look ahead to four years time but you need stepping stones before that," she added.
"Ultimately it's about the next Olympics and to do your best on that one day and not before."
The demands on Williams's time over the last few months did lead her to consider whether she wanted to continue - but it was only a fleeting thought.
"I thought I could stop now and look forward to the next mission in life," said Williams.
"But when speaking to my coaches they knew that I wasn't finished yet and I know there are tracks out there I can improve on.
"I still feel physically I can get quicker, faster, stronger and until I feel like I've got nothing else to give then I'll keep going and bring home some more medals."
