| The European World Cup races cancelled due to a lack of snow will not now be transferred to North America. The cancelled races were scheduled for 9 and 10 December in the French Alps of Val d'Isere and in the Swiss resort of St Moritz. The International Skiing Federation (FIS) said: "None of the cancelled ladies' or men's alpine FIS World Cup events will be moved. "Information about replacement events will follow as soon as possible."
