Winter warmers lined up by BBC
Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson
Clarkson filmed in Lillehammer for a Top Gear special
A variety of BBC favourites will join in the Winter Olympics fun by hosting special programmes.

Blue Peter looks ahead to Turin with the presenters trying their hands at some winter sports and meeting Team GB members.

Top Gear has its own unique and wacky tribute to the Games and Ready Steady Cook will feature Brit ice dance duo Sinead and John Kerr.

The Culture Show and Working Lunch also have Winter Olympics-themed programmes.

Saturday 4 February
Saturday Kitchen, BBC One, 1000

Antony Worrall Thompson will get Saturday Kitchen viewers in the mood for the Winter Olympics with a traditional winter dish from the Piedmont region of Italy, Bagna Cauda - a creamy garlic and fondue dip, served with vegetables and bread.

Thursday 9 February
The Culture Show, BBC Two, 1900 Reporting on the Winter Olympics in Turin, where the accompanying Snow Show brings together the likes of Yoko Ono and architect Norman Foster to make creations out of snow and ice.

Friday 10 February
Blue Peter, BBC One, 1700

Presenters Zoe and Gethin travel to the Alps to try their hand at some winter sports and profile Team GB hopefuls. How will Gethin do when he tries the famous Cresta Run?

Saturday 11, 18 and 25 February
Sportsround , BBC Two, 1145

News on all of the action from the Winter Olympics, including reporting live from Sestriere.

Monday 13 February
Ready Steady Cook, BBC Two 1630

Ainsley Harriott will be testing the culinary skills of brother and sister figure-skating pair, John and Sinead Kerr. In Turin, John and Sinead will try to follow in the footsteps of Britain's most successful skating duo, Torvill and Dean.

Sunday 12 February
Top Gear, BBC Two, 2110

The team hit Norway to attempt Olympic events, but with cars.

They fire a rocket-powered Mini off a ski jump, Jeremy and James tackle the biathlon with the latest 4x4s, Richard stages a game of car ice hockey, and the new Jaguar XK races a speed skater.

Monday 13 to Friday 17 February
Working Lunch, BBC Two 1230 (Wed 1330)

Working Lunch will be looking at the business of the Games: how the competitors balance their day jobs with training, getting sponsorship together, and profiling the people who manufacture and develop winter sport equipment.
