Jarrod Shoemaker from the USA wins his first ITU World Championship Series race in Hamburg, Germany.
The eight-leg series moves to London's Hyde Park on 15 August, with live coverage on BBC TV.
Britain's Alistair Brownlee, who has won every race he has started in the series, did not compete in Germany, opting instead to prepare for Hyde Park.
In his absence Germany's Maik Petzold, who finished fourth, moved to the top of the series rankings.
