Tim Don is aiming to defend his national crown at the Royal Windsor triathlon on Sunday, which this year is doubling as the British championships.

The 28-year-old, who finished fourth at this year's Commonwealth Games, faces competition from defending Windsor champion Andrew Johns and Stuart Hayes.

Two-time national champion Liz Blatchford is favourite to retain both her Windsor and British crowns.

She will be tested by Julie Dibens, Helen Tucker and Anneliese Heard.

The Windsor race acts as a qualifying event for the men's ITU World Cup race in Salford next month.

There are 80 elite athletes competing in Windsor amongst a 2,500-strong field, who will race past Windsor Castle, Eton College and the River Thames along the course.
