Great Britain's swimming stars take to the water at the European Championships this week. Double Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington and world champions Liam Tancock and Gemma Spofforth are hunting medals. Here's a daily breakdown on when the GB and international big hitters could make the headlines in Budapest. DAY SEVEN - SUNDAY 15 AUGUST Titles up for grabs: 8 (Finals 1600-1800 BST) The women's 400m freestyle features two of the three medallists from the World Championships last year. Two British team-mates, Commonwealth record-holder Jo Jackson and Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington, go for medals on the final day in Budapest, but world champion Federica Pellegrini pulled out of the heats and will not take part. Britain are looking for a hat-trick of titles in the women's 4x100m medley relay after winning the European title in 2006 and 2008. Local hero Laszlo Cseh is looking for his fourth consecutive 400m individual medley crown. Other British medal contenders include Fran Halsall in the 50m freestyle, Ellen Gandy in the 200m butterfly and Kate Haywood in the 50m breaststroke. The championships bid farewell with the men's 4x100m medley relay where Russia have won four of the five European titles.
