Britain's Daryl Selby claimed his second PSA Tour title in Calgary by beating compatriot Chris Ryder. Second seed Selby from Essex took 70 minutes to see off fifth-ranked Ryder 11-10 (2-0) 10-11 (1-3) 11-5 11-8.
Wolverhampton's Ryder reached the last eight by beating English top seed Alister Walker and defeated Aussie third seed Aaron Frankomb in the semis.
Selby reached the final after fighting back from 0-2 down against Colombian fourth seed Miguel Angel Rodriguez.
