Madeline Perry from Banbridge has retained the women's Irish Open title with victory over Laura Lengthorn in Dublin on Sunday. Two weeks after reaching the quarter-finals at the Commonwealth Games, world number nine Perry beat her English opponent 9-7 9-3 9-4.
Perry made a slow start, trailing 7-4 in the first game.
But she got back to 7-7 and went on to repeat her 2005 ournament triumph without dropping a game.
In the semi-finals number one seed Perry had beaten Isabelle Stoehr of France 9-2 9-1 9-1.
World number 13 Lengthorn saw off Dutch player Annelize Naude in five games.
Fourth seed Borja Golan from Spain beat Davide Bianchetti in the men's final.
