The match was nip and tuck through to 3-3, with Selby edging ahead, only for Maguire, world number two, to hit back with breaks of 140 and 99. But 2008 champion Selby edged 4-3 ahead with a 91 and won the last two frames to set up a repeat of the 2009 final. That loss to 'The Rocket' is Selby's only defeat in 11 matches at Wembley. He won the tournament at the first attempt in 2008 when he crushed Stephen Lee 10-3 in the final, before O'Sullivan won their clash in last year's final 10-8. O'Sullivan, in a record-equalling ninth Masters final, and a sixth in the last seven years, has won half of his previous eight and will now be gunning for his fifth title against an opponent from Leicester who has improved with every match over the last six days. "I played well in the final last year, I just missed a chance to go 9-8 up. I'm not playing as well as I was then, my break-building needs to be more consistent." The opening three frames between Selby and Maguire were relatively scrappy, but the match came to life in the fourth when the Scot levelled at 2-2 with a stunning 140 to equal the tournament's highest break. Maguire drew level again at 3-3 with a missed black denying him another century, but Selby raised his game and breaks of 91 and 51 got him within one of the finish line, before a 55 handed him victory. A disappointed Maguire said: "I was pathetic, I had so many chances but I couldn't do it. Mark was just a bit better. "But I've not got the ammunition at the moment. There's something missing, my cue action is not great. I'm hitting everything thick and I can't pot anything over six foot." Sunday's hotly-anticipated rematch kicks off at 1400 GMT and the 'Jester from Leicester' dismissed any suggestions that O'Sullivan was suffering a lack of form. After the world number one insisted he was playing badly and did not deserve his semi-final win over Mark Williams, Selby said: "He said that after he made a 147 against me in the (2007) UK Championship. "His B game is good enough to beat a lot of players. He played well against Williams."
