Jamie Cope is out of the World Snooker Championships after losing in the first round to Peter Ebdon on Sunday. The 22-year-old from Hanley lost a final-frame decider to the former World Champion in his first appearance at the Crucible Theatre. He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I've taken Peter Ebdon, a great player who's played here a lot, to the final frame. "I've played well in my first appearance here, I've enjoyed it and look forward to playing here again."
