Gremlin Galacticos retained their Premier Division title with two games to spare with a 10-2 victory over Sporting Lions. The Galacticos suffered an early setback but recovered to consign their opponents to relegation. Adam Shorto made a 93 break, pipping Martyn Desperques' previous highest for the division by three points. Adrian Lihou and Paul Le Sauvage claimed the required frames to claim the crown for the second year running. A small victory for the Lions was Gordon Irish ending Le Sauvage's four-game run of 3-0 wins. Ex-Service Chirpers look good for a second placed finish after beating Ex-Service Reds 8-4. Desperques was beaten 2-1 by Andy Travis, who made breaks of 38 and a 36 clearance, but saved himself from a 3-0 defeat by claiming the last frame with a clearance of 43 to tie the match at 4-4 at the half-way stage. But Chirpers dominated the second half through John Skillett's 3-0 win and, in a match of clearances, Adrian Holley's own effort of 46 sealed his 2-1 victory. La Villette Gremlins were made to fight hard by the North Legionnaires for a 7-5 win. Graham Peel's fine season continued by registering the only 3-0 win of the match, whilst Tom Brock's resurgence kept the Legionnaires in the hunt. Shaun Mahy beat Stan Lester to keep the Legionnaires' hopes of at least a draw alive, but Ian Platt got the better of Rick De Garis to seal La Villette's win.
