Stoke duo Jamie Cope and Dave Harold have been handed tough draws in the opening round of the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible Theatre. Harold will face the winner of the 2005 competition, Shaun Murphy, whilst Cope meets the 2002 champion, Peter Ebdon.
Both Cope and Harold booked their place at the Crucible by winning through the final qualifying round at the English Institute of Sport.
Cope beat Fergal O'Brien 10-5 and Harold eased past Mike Dunn 10-4.
