Finland's Robin Hull has been forced to withdraw from the World Championship qualifiers because of ill health. Hull was due to play Mark Joyce at Pontin's in Prestatyn on Tuesday, but doctors advised him not to travel after diagnosing an irregular heartbeat.
In 2003, he missed five tournaments after suffering from a virus that brought on bouts of dizziness.
His condition was so bad that the world number 50 was unable to walk in a straight line.
Earlier this season, Hull knocked Grand Prix and Welsh Open champion Neil Robertson out of the UK Championship and he has twice reached the quarter-final stage of a ranking event.
Joyce now faces Dubliner Fergal O'Brien with the winner to play Stuart Bingham in the final qualifying round next month.
