Steve Davis set up a play-off tie against Ronnie O'Sullivan as he knocked Ken Doherty out of the Premier League competition with a 5-1 victory. Davis sealed the comprehensive win with help from breaks of 114, 89 and 59.
O'Sullivan clawed his way back from 3-0 down to secure a 3-3 draw against Graeme Dott, who faces Jimmy White in the other semi-final on 2 December.
But Stephen Hendry is out of the competition after only managing a 3-3 draw against Ding Jun-hui.
Hendry raced into a 2-0 lead with breaks of 57 and 101, but Ding fought back with two century breaks and an 82 to send put Scot out.
