O'Sullivan said he played well in 'spasms' |
Ronnie O'Sullivan secured his place in the Premier League semi-finals with a 4-2 victory over Steve Davis at the Plymouth Pavilions. He was joined in the final four by China's Ding Junhui, who beat world champion Graame Dott by the same score.
Defeat for six-time world champion Davis left his final-four hopes hanging in the balance with two matches left.
"I could have won more frames, but Ronnie only needs one chance and he was quickly 3-0 ahead," he admitted.
O'Sullivan, who sealed victory with a break of 108, said: "Qualifying takes the pressure off a bit now."
