Greene and Allen suffer defeats |  Antrim's Mark Allen takes on Ricky Walden on Thursday | Gerard Greene's hopes of securing a place in the Malta Open have ended after losing his third qualifying round game in Prestatyn on Thursday. The Kent-based N Ireland player was beaten 5-3 by David Roe. Antrim player Mark Allen also bowed out from the event as he lost 5-2 against England's Ricky Walden. Joe Swail enters the fray at the final qualifying round stage and the Belfast man will take on Michael Judge in an all-Irish battle.
