Live snooker from both tables
snooker tv coverage
Digital television and website viewers will be able to watch live snooker from both tables throughout the 2005 World Snooker Championship in Sheffield.

For the first time, UK users of the BBC Sport website with broadband connections will be able to watch uninterrupted coverage from either table at the Crucible.

The website also features daily video highlights packages and interviews, as well as a selection of Sport Academy video training challenges from star player Stephen Lee.

Meanwhile, as in 2004, pressing the red button on your digital TV remote control will also give you exclusive live access to any match.

Digital and broadband viewers will be able to tune in at 1000 BST every day each morning, two hours before terrestrial coverage begins.

How to use digital TV

During snooker coverage on BBC One and BBC Two, viewers will be prompted to be press the RED key.

Outside of BBC One and BBC Two coverage, viewers need to press RED or TEXT and then select SNOOKER INTERACTIVE from the menu.

The digital service will also include an up-to-date news and statistics service.

Please note that Freeview viewers may not be able to access the full service at certain times.
