Cornish rowers Annabel Vernon and Helen Glover have been named in the GB rowing squad for the Rowing World Championships held in New Zealand. Vernon will compete in the quadruple scull with Beth Rodford, Debbie Flood and Katie Solesbury. Vernon won two golds and a silver in the quad at the Rowing World Cup events this season. Glover, who hails from Penzance, will compete in the women's pairs alongside Heather Stanning. The World Championships are being held at Lake Karapiro from 31 October to 7 November 2010.
