Could you be a sporting giant?

Want to take part in 2012?
Could rowing be your bag?

If you still have dreams of competing at the 2012 London Olympics then this could be your chance.

UK Sport has launched a search for talent capable of competing for Britain in rowing, handball and volleyball.

The only requirements are that you must be aged between 16-25, are quite tall and have a good all-round sporting ability.

Does that sound like you?

Many of the GB stars we will see perform in just over five years are already being trained up in their specific sports, but according to rowing legend Sir Steve Redgrave 10% of the talent pool is still needed.

So what are they looking for?

  • Females must be 5' 11" (180cm) or above and males must be 6' 3" (190cm) or above

  • Must be aged between 16 and 25

  • No prior experience in rowing, handball and volleyball is required, but must be a good all-round athlete

If that sounds like you then register on the UK Sport website. You have until Friday 23 March 2007.
