The ballot figures have been released to show how the International Olympic Committee members voted for the 2012 Games, which was eventually won by London after the fourth round of voting.
It shows that while London and Paris picked up new votes in every round, Madrid actually led the votes in round two - but then saw their total drop by one in the next round and were eliminated.
