England captain Olivia Murphy has retired from international netball.

Murphy, part of England's world championship bronze medal-winning team in 1997, won 95 caps.

"We have a hugely talented group of athletes coming through the system, and I know that England will continue to prosper in years to come," said Murphy.

She will continue to play for Loughborough Lightning, while her replacement as England captain will be announced shortly.
