Cardiff Devils bounced back from Saturday's defeat by Braehead by seeing off Nottingham Panthers to keep in touching distance of the top two.

Panthers opened the scoring midway through the final period, Matt Myers broke down the left and cut inside before firing home a back-hand shot.

Brad Voth quickly brought the Devils level with a powerful slap-shot before Craig Weller put them ahead.

Scott Matzka sealed the win with three seconds left, firing into an empty net.
