Carlson is Blaze's all-time leading point-scorer

Coventry Blaze lost 4-1 to Sheffield Steelers at the Skydome to complete a weekend of back-to-back defeats.

In a much closer affair on Saturday, Blaze had taken their opponents to a penalty shootout, eventually losing 3-2 in Sheffield.

On Sunday Paul Thompson's men found themselves four goals adrift courtesy of Ashley Tait (two), Neil Clark and Robert Dowd.

Steelers held on for a 10th straight win despite Dan Carlson's consolation.
