Cardiff Devils' unbeaten run that stretched to 22 games has come to an end following a dramatic penalty shoot-out at Dundee. The winning streak ended at the same venue the Devils suffered their previous defeat when the Stars beat them 7-3 on 28 October. Stuart Macrae fired Devils ahead and Peter Cartwright levelled in the 58th minute. Former Devil Jay Latulippe fired home the shoot-out winner. Cardiff Devils, who beat Coventry Blaze 5-4 at the Cardiff Bay Arena on Saturday, remain top of the Elite League. Their next match is a Challenge Cup group decider against Nottingham Panthers on Wednesday, 19 January at 1930 GMT.
