Paul Thompson has won three Elite League titles with Blaze

Coventry Blaze hold a three-point lead going into the final five games of their Elite League campaign.

Blaze bounced back from Friday's 3-2 defeat in Sheffield with a 4-3 win over Cardiff Devils at the Skydome.

Defenceman Jonathan Weaver hit the winner for Paul Thompson's side as they look to close in on their fourth title.

And hopes of claiming the silverware were further boosted with Edinburgh Capitals' 4-3 victory over second-placed Belfast Giants on Sunday.
