Grenoble 2-5 Sheffield Steelers

Steelers face joint group leaders Red Bull Salzburg on Saturday at 1500 GMT.

Steelers head coach Dave Matsos told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We did an outstanding job. I thought this would be a tough game but it was a job well done. We did lose it in the second period.

"We're going to play have to play a tidier hockey and we have to iron out the mistakes we did tonight.

"We took the chances they gave us and it was a great character win for us."
