Nottingham Panthers have made a quick return to top spot in ice hockey's Elite League, knocking Coventry Blaze down to second place.

The Panthers beat Edinburgh 4-3 on Tuesday night, with GB international David Clarke getting the game winning goal in the 53rd minute.

The result leaves the Blaze two points behind Nottingham, but they now have five games in hand.

Next up for Coventry is a home match against Newcastle on Saturday.
