It will be Steelers right wing Joey Talbot's third season in Sheffield.

Sheffield Steelers top scorer Joey Talbot has agreed a new contract for next season.

The 28-year-old has scored a total of 64 goals in his first two seasons with the Steelers.

"There was a couple of other offers on the table, so I got the opportunity this year to look around," Talbot told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"I had approaches from Germany, Italy and Denmark but Sheffield was the place that we wanted to be."
