Cardiff Devils coach Gerad Adam says he was left feeling 'sick' by his side's 2-1 home defeat against Hull Stingrays on Sunday.

Wes Jarvis had opened the scoring for the Devils in the first period as the home side enjoyed long periods of domination over the visitors.

New import Matt Elich impressed in patches while captain Brad Voth and Mike Prpich spurned golden chances.

But a brace at the death by Pavel Gomenyuk secured the visitors' win.
