Cardiff Devils claimed an emphatic 8-0 win at home to Basingstoke Bison in the first leg of their British Knockout Cup quarter-final on Sunday night.

After a 4-3 shootout Elite League win at Sheffield Steelers on Saturday, the Devils completed the weekend in style.

Man of the match Brad Voth (2), Jason Stone, Phil Hill, Jason Silverthorn, Tyson Teplitsky, Wes Jarvis and Mike Prpich all found the net.

Cardiff's net-minding duo Peter Aubry and Joe Myers combined for a shutout.

The Devils return to Elite League action next Sunday when they host Newcastle Vipers (1800 GMT; listen to live match commentary on the BBC Sport website).
