Nottingham Panthers captain Danny Meyers is warning his side of complacency ahead of their Elite League match with Basingstoke Bison. The two sides meet at the National Ice Centre on Tuesday night with Bison languishing in ninth place. Meyers told BBC Radio Nottingham: "The thing with Basingstoke is that they have just 10 players but they are 10 good players. "They have players like Greg Chambers who, given half a chance, will score." Basingstoke have been hit by financial problems recently and lost power forward Brad Cruikshank to Sheffield Steelers. The club's future has been in doubt in recent weeks with players' salaries not being paid. But on Monday a deal was struck with Plant Ice, who own the rink, to save the club.
