Kozak signed from Mississippi RiverKings in the summer

Hull Stingrays' Canadian forward Rick Kozak has been banned for 10 games, with a further 10-game ban suspended for the rest of the season.

The 23-year-old was sent off for fighting in Sunday's 6-2 Elite League defeat by Nottingham.

The new signing was suspended for "sucker-punching an opponent" and bringing the game into disrepute.

Stingrays owner Mick Pack told BBC Radio Humberside he had not ruled out lodging an appeal.
