Cardiff Devils have completed the signing of Canadian forward Rod Hinks.

The 35-year-old has spent much of his career in Europe including the Swiss B league last year.

"It is a league which you have to be extremely skilled to play in and many players can't make it there," said Devils coach Gerad Adams.

"You need a mixture of youth and experience to make a successful hockey team and this has been true in Cardiff."
